Room #113

An installation at the Rietveld graduation show 2010

Aluminum blinds hang in the space casting a shadow. On a wall, a sheet of thin newspaper is divided into multiple A3 squares by folding, on it printed with tiny letters in white ink words telling about lines, traces, spaces and their repetition. A rug with geometric shapes, and visible folds from it having been stored, is placed on the floor.

On the rug stands a table and on the table a slide projector, makes an image on a wall of another table.

A seat with a small table displaying a handcrafted blue woolen pyramid that was knitted in a plane whilst being stuck in a snow blizzard.

Slide projector makes an image of a snow filled winter garden on a green summer one.

Repetitions of a silk-screened seascape float on top of each other. In the crack of the wall is a tiny booklet, a sentence is spread on its’ four pages “waiting / together / separate / bitten by the same / mosquito”….
